Kia Ora and welcome to A1's Blog for 2017! We are excited to share our learning, experiences, assessment tasks and life in A1 with you. This blog is also about sharing what we can do all by ourselves so you may see some mistakes along the way. Mistakes are part of the learning journey. TERM 4 TOPIC HOMEWORK 


Please see below your term 4 topic homework. This is your assessment for topic so it must be completed. If it is not in by the due date it will be completed at school. Have fun with it and aim for extended abstract! 


SPEECHES!!

Please see the details below in regard to speeches. The final due date is Friday 25th August.

You may choose any topic you are interested in or a topic you would like to find out about. The speech must be between 2-5 minutes long. The top 3 students from A1 will go through to the Whakapoungakau speech final which will be held on Monday 4th September.

Here is the Whakapoungakau homework for weeks 4 and 5. It is due on Friday 2nd June.


Below is math homework relating to A1 and what we are learning in class. This will be on alternate weeks from the Whakapoungakau team homework. You have a week to complete this. It is due Friday 26th May. Once completed, it is recommended you bring it to school so it is at school when we mark it.

This is the math homework for weeks 5 and 6. It is due on Monday the 13th March because we will be at camp on the Friday. Students can read it off the computer or they can print it out and glue it into their homework book. Students need to show the strategy they used to arrive at the answer.




Homework for weeks 3 and 4. Due Friday 24th February.
