ART WEEK!!

Here is an update on the past 3 days of art week. We have been having a fun time making heaps of mess but creating some amazing art in the process! Our school wide theme is native flora and fauna. We have been making...

  • paper mache wetas 
  • pastel drawings of Pukeko
  • scratch art of leaves 
  • weaving flax into mats and flowers 
  • sketching and carving designs of native flora 
  • a painting of a silver fern with a whakatauki 
  • a (masterpiece) mural to signify the importance of life and our land 
We are having a public viewing on Friday 22nd September at 2pm where all classes will be open for display if you would like to come and have a look! Special mention to the following people who have help us this week...
