Term 2 Art Assessment: Tapa Cloth

Learning Intention: We ave been learning to demonstrate geometrical translations in the form of a tapa cloth.

Success Criteria: 
- Show an example of reflection, rotation, translation and tessellation
- Use traditional island designs
- Use traditional colours of a tapa cloth


Easy Blog Photo

If you rotate the design 180 degrees with the diamond shape at the top it will look the same. If you reflect the design it will look the same with the diamond shapes on the top bottom and sides. I have translated the triangle shapes from the left side of the paper to the right.
