We have been working on statistics in class, focusing on multivariate data. To help us collect data about our class, we participated in Census at School. We got into pairs and rotated around measurement stations collecting information such as our height, our arm span, how heavy our school bag was, our neck and wrist circumference, the weight of our class devices and the length of our left foot. The Census also asked us questions such as our ethnicity, how long it takes us to get to school, how long we spend in front of devices, etc. All information sent to the Census was anonymous. We were then sent a report with all of the data from our class. We are going to construct questions about what we want to find out and then use the data to answer these questions and form statements about what we have learnt about our class.
