Greats n Grans Day!

We had a fabulous morning with our visitors this morning. It was fantastic to see such an amazing turnout or grandparents, aunties and parents to share our learning with!

We started our morning by performing waiata and haka to our visitors.

We were then lucky enough to have our grandparents show stories of what it was like for them when they were at school. We used this information to complete a compare and contrast map where the students had to compare what school was like then to what it is like now. The grandparents were a great help!

The students that had their grandparents there then took a photo together and used pic-collage to show what their loved ones meant to them.
