Learning Intention: Initiate and develop ideas to create and perform a play with others. 

Term 4 Maths Assessment: Position and Orientation

Learning Intention: Locate positions on a treasure map using the major compass directions. 

Jazmyn is achieving at Level 2 of the curriculum for Position and Orientation. 

Term 3 ICT Assessment: Bubbl.us

Learning Intention: 

We have been learning how to classify vertebrates using an online tool called bubbl.us.

Term 3 Art Assessment: Carving

Learning Intention: To create a piece of visual art that depicts 

Aotearoa’s native flora and fauna

During art week we completed a piece of art work using carving. We had a piece of MDF which was painted black. During our planning stage we sketched a design of a native New Zealand plant. We then used tools to carve our design into the timber. 

Term 3 PE Assessment: Jump Jam

For Fitness in Term 3, we participated in Jump Jam. JUMP JAM is a fusion of dance & fitness disciplines along with cultural interpretations that capture the look, attitude, posture and elements of Aerobics and Fitness. It is a fun way to promote fitness for all of the children.

Learning Intention: Participate in jump jam and describe how regular physical activity assists in the promotion of well-being.

Term 2 Math Assessment: Geometry

Jazmyn is working at level 2 of the curriculum for Geometry. 

Term 2 Māori Assessment: Kai

Learning Intention:

• understand and use some familiar food vocabulary
• recognise and use some sentences often used about food

Success Criteria:

• I can understand some familiar words about food when I hear them
• I can say some familiar words about food
• I can write some familiar words about food

Term 2 ICT Assessment: iMovie

Learning Intention: We are learning to use the IMovie Ipad app to demonstrate a learning experience we have had.

Term 2 Art Assessment: Tapa Cloth

Learning Intention: We have been learning to demonstrate geometrical translations in the form of a tapa cloth.

Success Criteria: 

- Show an example of reflection, rotation, translation and tessellation

- Use traditional island designs

- Use traditional colours of a tapa cloth

My wifi has rotational symmetry and is translated. The circles on the sides are reflected. The squares are reflected and translated. The corners are also translated.

Term 2 SOLO Assessment: Ecology Topic

  Learning Intention: We are learning to use a cause and effect map to analyse an environmental issue causing harm to a habitat.

Multistructural	Jazmyn, your cause and effect map is at a multistructural level. You have shared many great ideas for both causes and effects of climate change. To get to a relational level, you need to be able to explain these further by using the words because. You have done this well in your effect section but need to build your understanding on the possible causes. Great work Jazmyn.
